One more word about FCC Missions Month

I know, it's November now. Nevertheless, I want one more posting about all that God seems to be doing in our midst. I believe that He is calling every person at FCC to a greater commitment to the unreached peoples of the world. The testimony of Barry and Terry Newman was challenging and compelling. The Fulani people of West Africa need Christ, as do thousands of other people groups who have never heard. If this cry has not yet reached your heart - and you are reading this - I would like to lay down two more points of appeal.

1. Listen to the Testimony of Barry and Terry Newman. Their story is one of two lives coming together for the glory of God among the Fulanis. You may also go to the sermons on this site and hear what was shared on Sunday Morning.

2. If listening to this does not convince you that God is calling you to take steps toward the unreached peoples of the world, please read the following article by John Piper. Interestingly enough, this was just published today. It seems God may be speaking to His people elsewhere about the same issues. Dr. Piper's article is succinct, Biblical and compelling.

Lest any one be confused about the challenge - the proverbial gauntlet is thrown. Will you consider what God may be saying to you?
